Our first baby,  so this one will always have a very special place in our hearts!  We opened initially in June 2005 at number 36 Lordship Lane with a teeny tiny bar which only seated 20 people and which was generally a very well kept secret as it was tucked away behind the shop.  When the site next door to us came on the market in August 2006, after a long and hard fought campaign,  we finally convinced the landlord to let us have it and our new look shop, deli and much bigger bar were  launched at the end of February 2007.  Our baby was suddenly a much bigger, louder, more boisterous creation but we love it even more – and so it appears, do you!
