We might be primarily about wine, but that does not mean that we do not put
enormous effort into our food selection as well. As with the wines, the
produce on our menu comes from small producers and most of it is produced as
naturally and sustainable as possible. Everything has to be at an advanced
level of deliciousness (and we do hold rigorous tasting sessions to ensure
this) but we don't think that food should be precious or pretentious any
more than wine should. While we don't scrimp on the quality of ingredients
and the prices reflect that, we do try very hard to keep these as realistic
as possible so that sensational lunches or dinners with great wine don't
have to be a rare treat.
