SUSHI MAKING WORKSHOPS

Let’s Roll and perfect sushi rice
19th February 4pm - 6pm


This session will teach you the basics of making perfect sushi rice and sushi rolls. 
It Includes cutting and preparing fish and vegetables and rolling techniquies for making Maki rolls
*vegetarian options available

More Style
4th March  4pm - 6pm
You will learn how to make cured or grilled mackerel bo-sushi, 
Futo maki sushi, Temari sushi, Japanese omlette with a braised shitake mushrooms and carrot filling,  and how to use shitake mushroom stock for flavour.


Traditional sushi
25th March 4pm - 6pm
The final session will concentrate on Chirashi sushi cooked with hijiki mixture and a variety of toppings, Inari sushi, Oshi sushi, braised aburaage (tofu skin) and pressed sushi    with different tie of fish and ingredients

Shop price wine in the bar

On Tuesdays, all wines consumed in the bar are at shop price – a truly astounding bargain.  This means you can have a delicious, simple meal with a bottle of something truly splendid for a fraction of the price you would pay elsewhere. A corkage charge per bottle will be applied for the remainder of the week.
