Green and Blue is a small independent wine shop and bar only selling wines from smaller producers, often made from organic or biodynamically grown grapes. There is a small bar at the back where customers can drink the wine with simple cold platters of cheese, smoked fish, meats, etc and regular tastings are also held here. The owners are absolutely passionate about 'real' wine - as opposed to the mass produced, branded rubbish sold by supermarkets - and their mission is to sell this in an environment which is completely relaxed and funky and not at all intimidating.

Kate choosessuperb wines which are grouped according to taste & also organizeswine courses and tastings which, aside from being very informative, arealso very enjoyable and great fun. The bar food is simple using thebest products and compliments the wine rather than competing with it.

I love this place! The wines are phenomenal without exception, the tapas are fresh and tasty and the vibe is spot on - you feel totally at home and relaxed but without slumming it - great music, comfortable and attractive decor. This is a seriously cool and very unique little spot. Just wish it was a bit more accessible, have to go out of the way to get there. The prices are good too.

The shop supplies unique wine and every single one I have tasted fromthere has been out of this world. The staff are extremely helpful andfriendly without being condesending (hard to find when buying wine).You can also try the wines in a bar at the back of a shop, which has agreat atmosphere, so you can find exactly what you're looking forbefore buying it. The snacks they serve are also delicious. I recommendthis place to anyone who enjoys wine.

Being an American tourist I expected this place to be quite priceyconsidering the decorum. It was refreshing to see you can get qualitywines at affordable prices. The staff seemed helpful not arrogant,which I found to be quite common among wine shops. So if you want goodwine at a good price without all of the pretentious attitude then thisis place for you!
