A Christmas Miracle? By Kate
I am beginning to suffer from December insanity. Not as much fun as March Madness – the words don’t really go together for one thing. This is as a result of a combination of very little sleep, towering mountains of work and the realization that after no days off for 6 weeks now, the next chance of a break is going to be The Big C Day itself.
What can one do, except keep buggering on, relentlessly?
Doesn’t that sound like a huge amount of fun.
Thank God for the bits of brightness that still bounce into view when you least expect them. This particular one makes me feel hugely better in the seconds I have to think about it – my most heartfelt thanks to all concerned.
Firstly, to the people who emailed concerning bag-gate or posted supportive messages on the EDF. Thank you a million times. You have no idea how much that helps.
Secondly, thanks to Mr. & Mrs. X who sent a completely civilized, thoughtful and kind email after it all got slightly out of hand on the forum. They are clearly a lot more environmentally aware than earlier correspondence may have suggested, and for having the good manners to ensure they did not simply leave us all with a bad taste over this episode they deserve a sincere apology from me for any distress that may have been caused by any of the postings.
Finally, two related links.
The first was sent by a lovely and long standing customer and is well worth a read (and a cheer for what has been achieved here)
The second is a clip which we have on our web site in the ‘ethics’ section. It is well worth a look. We completely love this at Green & Blue – thanks to my darling sister for sending it :-
