As from Tuesday the 8th July we are very happy to welcome our long awaited new recruit Mr Thandisizwe Meyi (or Tyson to those of you who find that a little challenging!)
Tyson is joining us for a year long wine scholarship – the first of it’s kind here in the UK. His training will be comprised of, amongst other things, a 13 week ‘School of Wine’ course, trips to wine regions across Europe, London trade tastings as well as meetings and masterclasses with top wine makers from around the world.
For those of you close enough to our East Dulwich branch do pop in and say hello as when he’s not jetting off to all the top wine regions of Europe and other, equally glamorous expeditions, he’ll be serving in our bar and will be more than happy to share his experience with you.
For those of you who don’t live in close enough proximity, Tyson will be posting a monthly video diary on this site so do tune in and share the experience as a novice becomes a fully fledged professional.
